• It attempted to introduce a system of open competitions for the selection of civil servants. However, this provision 2 was negated after opposition from the court of directors who continued to hold the privilege of appointing company officials.
• The Island of Saint Helena was vested in his Majesty.
Cripps mission in March 1942 by British government secure Indian cooperation and support for efforts in World War II which was headed by Sir Stafford Cripps and government minister in Cabinet of Prime Minister Winston Churchill.
Under Morley-Minto reforms legislators were permitted to discuss budget, suggest amendments and even vote on them except items that were included as non-vote items. They were also entitled to ask supplementary questions during the legislative proceedings.

Gurus of these families have preserved and handed the art traditions down the generations. It combined lasya and tandava elements, folk and classical shades. This form of dance can be traced to the dance-dramas enacted by Brahmins in temples. It was traditionally a male preserve. Somadeva’s Kathasaritsagara is a huge collection of stories skillfully narrated. The use of Sanskrit prose for scientific, technical and philosophical purposes is first exemplified by Patanjali’s Mahabhashya.
Shevaroy hills are located in the North Central Tamil Nadu. It is situated at Salem district in Tamil Nadu. The height of Shevaroy hills is about 4000 to 5000 feet above sea level. Its total area is about 50 sq km. The famous 'Yarkod' hill station is situated in these hills.
